What is a secret though, is the millions of fantastic books people don't read because they don't know much about it. They haven't heard about it on T.V., it hasn't been made into a movie, no celebrities have admitted to reading it, none of their friends have, or it doesn't contain and vampires or werewolves. I'm going to start posting my favorite books, classics and modern day. Plus the book I'm currently reading because I am always currently reading one. Maybe you'll find a new favorite with my help :)

I am more of a writer nowadays than a reader, atleast recently. I do have a few hidden favs though.
ReplyDelete"The Book of Swords" by Fred Saberhagen
(An epic, and massive, book of everything fantasy and sci-fi. It was an awesome read and really hard to put down. (Without reading 200+ pgs at a time) i first found the book when I was just a little guy and I've re-read it multiple times since.)
"Prey" by Michael Crichton
(Thriller; scientific but so real it couldn't be classified as sci-fi.) The novel was so convincing that I immediately became hooked to Crichton. He makes anything interesting to read.
I'm currently reading a book titled "Blessed Unrest" by Paul Hawken. Non-fiction, it deals with the GREEN movement and their potential goals. I'm only partly through it, but he begins discussing the massive waste lands in Africa and branches off from there. Its a tough read, but I enjoy it.
